Fall: Cookie Davis hosted a lovely tea and plant sale at her home. At the tea, the group
decided on the charities that the ECW planned to support with donations this year. $3,000
was donated to various groups including Community Fund Covid Relief, St. Peter's
Discretionary Fund, Village Harvest Food Distribution, Healthy Harvest Food Bank, St.
Andrew's School, Towers and Tunnels, Five Talents. Heifer International, Episcopal Relief
and Development, and The Rev. Luis Garcia, priest in the Dominican Republic, (Cookie’s
friend).
Winter: members of the ECW have continued to plan and prepare Village Dinners each
month, and for most of the year, with the continued spread of Covid, the dinners were grab-
and go. In November and December, however, it was possible to serve a small number of
people who chose to eat inside.
As the New Year begins, the ECW has new members, new hopes, and plans for new
projects.
