We gave out 1277 pounds of produce and 315 pounds of things like peanut butter, canned fruit, tuna, etc. on July 20, 2016. The amount of produce was a record produce distribution in the history of this ministry.
The fresh produce included zucchini, cabbage, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelon and cantaloupes.
We served 136 people which tied April, 2016 for the highest number served in a single month since the ministry began November, 2014.
YTD 2016 we have served 753 people with 6,614 pounds of fresh produce; this doesn’t include non-fresh produce items. The comparable number for 2015 was 538 people and 3,585 pounds of fresh produce. That equates to a 40% increase in people and 85% increase in fresh produce provided.
