Region One raised $21,374 for the toilets. There is a separate $905 from another fund at St. George’s that is available for the project. The original project amount is $21,600 which includes the contract and design and construction management
We wired $9,000 or 50% of the contract to the builder at the end of September, 2013 on the recommendation of the architectural firm which has experience with the Haitian contractor
This payment will be followed with payments of 25% according to the progress of construction wtih one final payment of 20% after the conclusion of the work with 5% being kept for retainage
The foundations and walls (with plumbing) are now completed. The mateiral delivery has been been a problem to complete the components of the roof. The project is beyond the expected conclusion date but is still in budget and the quality exceeds the requirements
