Pinnacles
Above each of the pairs of tablets are areas of
the plaster wall within the framework, which
have been painted and then decorated with
floral scrollwork.
Like the framework and central panel they have
been extensively altered by overpaint.

A partial test cleaning done on the right pin-
nacle showed traces of gold in the scroll-
work in the second image.
