This is an not an inexpensive project due to the complexity of the subject. However, it corrects issues from
natural causes such as earthquakes, changes to the building as well as errors by efforts to repair the altar-
piece over the last 150 years .
We are hiring a quality team with years of conservator experience which is important.
The altarpiece is worth conserving for their artistic quality. Although we don’t know the original
creator, they are unique for churches created in the mid-19th century.
The altarpiece is worth conserving since they hold documents that are key to our faith—the 10 command-
ments, creed and Lord’s prayer.
This is a project that will last several generations with proper care
