Welcome to St Peter’s!  Our hope is that you will find God’s love present with you in this place and that you will return here often.

Our communion bread is gluten free. 

 

Once again, we will be providing Christmas candy to over three hundred prisoners at Peumansend Creek Regional Jail.  Your donations of hard candy, individually wrapped, and small plastic snack bags would be greatly appreciated.  An ECW and youth project.  Deadline Dec. 17, 2012

 

The Caroline County Dept of Social Services food pantry is in need of canned goods, cereal, pasta, tuna fish, peanut butter and other staples.  Please bring your donations to church, and Fred Pannell will deliver them.

 

If you know of a family who needs help this Christmas, please contact one of the members of our Outreach Committee:  Fred Pannell, Nancy Long, and Johnny Davis. 

 

Pictures for the 2013 Directory will be taken in Catherine’s study after the service.  No scheduling necessary – just show up!

Christian Education continues next Sunday, Nov. 25, 9:45am:

1. The 2-6 year olds– with Catherine in her study.  2. Teens—with Becky Fisher using Christian music as a basis for discussing topics that are important in the lives of today’s teenagers. 3. Adults   Conclusion of   Christianity: The First Three Thousand Years: “God in the Dock.”


Coming December 2, 2012   Adult Education –  Handel’s Messiah in Advent.  We will read the Bible selections that form the background for Handel’s treatment of the Christmas portion of the Messiah.  Then we will listen to the work on video/CD.  A holiday tradition!

 

December 2, – Potluck Supper at the Everett’s 5:00pm.  Fellowship and a chance to see their amazing Christmas decorations.
