Rev. “Sig” Ware was the priest here for 30 years. On Sat Jan. 8, 1893, he wrote, “It was cold and snowing this am so we did not start to Grace Church; tried to get over river to service but failed.” 10 degrees below 0! A series of weekly articles continues about him and his diary at churchsp.org . This year is the 125th anniversary of his ministry.
2ND ANNUAL “SHRED IT” EVENT, MAY 10, 4pm-5pm. This is a ministry fundraiser. Use this occasion to clear out old file cabinets, boxes, folders and envelopes containing pay stubs, tax records, bank statements and receipts that have amassed over time.
Suggested donation $5 per bag.
