Needed—yellow #2 pencils, erasers, wide ruled notebook paper, glue sticks, Marble black and white composition books, boxes of 24 crayons, small index cards, tissues, Lysol wipes, hand sanitizer, dry erase markers, fiskar scissors, spiral bound notebooks, yellow highlighters, pocket folders with and without prongs. Leave in the back row.
Save the date! “Lyra” in concert, Tues., Sept 16 at 7pm, preceded by a wine and cheese reception at 6:30PM on the lawn. Lyra is a quartet of professional musicians from St. Petersburg, Russia. They will be singing some of the great music from the Russian Orthodox tradition as well as Russian folk music. Spread the word and bring a friend. The Ecumenical Bible Study has ended for the summer and will resume on Wednesday, September 3rd
Catherine will be on vacation for the next two Sundays (Aug 24, Aug. 31) and we will have morning prayer for both Sundays. There will be no 9am Rite I Eucharist on Aug. 31. Linda Beck will read Catherine’s sermon on Aug. 24 and Helmut Linne von Berg will be the preacher on Aug. 31.
Roger and Eunice Key are in Staten Island participating in the Moravian clothing distribution as a mission team from St. Peter’s did two years ago. Please keep them in your prayers.
