Save the date! “Lyra” in concert, here at St Peter’s, Tues., Sept 16 at 7pm. Lyra is a choir or professional musicians operating in St. Petersburg, Russia. “We are all united by love for choir and ensemble singing.” They perform vocal music is associated with the Russian Orthodox Church and Russian folk music based on history and culture.

Update on the organ bellows. Thanks to a generous donation from the Diocese of Virginia’s Mustard Seed Grant Fund and many wonderful donations from parishioners, we have only $512 left to go to cover the $14,000 cost of the re-leathering of the bellows. The bellows are currently being repaired and the work will be finished in about a month.
