Welcome to St Peter’s!  Our hope is that you will find God’s love present with you in this place and that you will return here often.

Our communion bread is gluten free.

 

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. At 10:50am we will meet in the yard beside the parish house for the Blessing of the Palms followed by our Palm Sunday procession into the church which will feature the Liturgy of the Passion.

 

Easter gifts – Purchase an Easter Lily and/or donate to the organ fund. Please help keep St. Peter’s historic organ in proper maintenance. Deadline March 24th. See the insert.

 

Easter Services – Save the dates- March 27- Tenebrae; March 28- Maundy Thursday; March 29 – Good Friday – all at 7pm.

Toilets for Haiti. Help our local churches raise funds build a new toilet system for the school attached to Notre Dame Cathedral.  Region One is spearheading a campaign for each of the 19 churches to raise $1700 for this project which will reduce diseases. Throw your contributions in the toilet today and support this worthwhile project.

 

Please consider donating to the Tools for the Sudan Project, a Region One project. Buy an agricultural or fishing tool from the shopping cart on the bulletin board or online. (churchsp.org/toolsforthesudan). We are over the $3,100 mark – thank you!

 

“Feasting with Jesus” final session will be on Maundy Thursday, March 28th at 5:00pm and will be a Seder supper.  Come understand Jesus in his own time and stay for the 7pm service.

 

7th Community Dinner – Sat., March 30, 2pm-4pm at the Firehouse. If you can assist with this event, please come to the fire house by 1:00 pm.

 

We need plastic Easter eggs and candy for our next community dinner.  If you have some to donate, please leave them in the back pew.
