Senior Warden, Annual Report, 2015
Roger Key
We have a lot to be thankful for during this past year here at St Peters and
to be blessed with such wonderful people who do such amazing things.
These are highlights of which some will be discussed further by those most affiliated.
The vestry started the year with thanking our outgoing members Boyd Wisdom and Cindy Fields
and welcoming our new members Elizabeth Heimbach and Becky Fisher.
Our Rector Catherine and I attended the Annual Council meeting held in Richmond. We both
discussed our takes from that meeting with the congregation.
Bishop Goff visited St. Peter's at Pentecost.
Other speakers throughout the year were:
Shelah Casey Brown with the Virginia Theological Seminary on Theological Education Sunday.
Cleo Mullins with Richmond Conservatory to talk about the tablets restoration.
David Caprara, Global Peace Foundation representative, who shared with us the gratitude of
our adopted family.
The Flamenco concert group of dance and flamenco guitar that was well attended.
Mary Thorpe, the transitional officer at the Diocese, led the Vestry and rector in a mutual
ministry review of key areas (strategy, process, pastoral and lay leadership, authority,
relatedness, and learning).

Retreat with Christ Church from Spotsylvania at Shrine Mount
